Cupping

The suction and negative pressure provided by Dry cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system (which makes it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure). Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles (sports pre-& post recovery), anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and can even improve the appearance of cellulite.

Each treatment is bespoke, and tailored to your exact needs and the areas required, or you can simply have this treatment just to promote your general health and wellbeing and relax!

The vacuum from the cups creates a lovely relaxing pressure, combined with lots of benefits, such as lymphatic circulation and detoxification (see below).

We recommend 45mins for your first session. 30min and 60min sessions are also available, after consultation with your therapist.

Cupping may be beneficial for treatment of the following:

- Inflammation, scar tissue & tissue congestion

- Movement restrictions, posture imbalances & deformities.

- Chronic pain & uterine cramps

- Many pre-and post-surgical conditions

- High blood pressure

- Migraines and headaches

- Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis

- Sleep deprivation and insomnia

- Vascular insufficiency

- lymphatic and Detoxifications

- Sports rehabilitation and performance

Sports Rehabilitation and Performance

Injuries, whether over-use, repetitive, sudden or chronic, will all experience scar tissue during their healing process. This is a natural development, however an unwanted one. Scar tissue is inflexible, is not as strong as healthy tissue, and does not have a good blood supply running through it, therefore there are insufficient nutrients reaching the rest of the tissue. This lack of supply will cause quicker fatigue, increased pain, and heavier delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS), hence why most injuries will reoccur if not treated effectively and efficiently.
